How to Manage Toothache?
How to Manage Toothache?
Toothache can be intolerable and may require some initial first aid till you can reach our clinic for the treatment. There are some first aid measures that are suggested by our dentists. They can help you relieve some pain and, to an extent, prevent further oral damage.
As soon as you experience pain, you must get in touch with us so we can schedule an appointment with our dentist. Temporarily, to suppress the pain, you can take 2x Nurofen or ibuprofen. They should not be combined with other medications and must take them as they are. Allow at least 3 hours for the medicine to take effect. If the pain continues even after 3 hours of taking the medication, and you have not seen any improvement, then you can take 2x Panadol or paracetamol.
Note: If you have a medical condition and are taking medication, then you must consult with your health practitioner before taking the above medication.
